When the medical school approached us about designing a new magazine, it had been five years since their last printed issue. While the school maintains a vibrant web and social media presence, their communications team realized that a high-quality printed magazine could engage key audiences with compelling stories and impactful imagery.
The team agreed to approach the project as a new magazine, not simply an update of prior publications. The design had to be fresh and clearly communicate complex science. Working collaboratively with the school’s communications group, we developed the overall look for the magazine. We defined content areas that required photography and illustration, then provided art direction for both. We helped with project and print management to help the process work smoothly. The new magazine is available both in print and online through issuu.com.
