Twice a year the Arts program at Holy Cross promoted their upcoming events with a 14-panel brochure mailed to their members and the greater arts community in the area. To stay fresh and engage those audiences anew, they asked us to help with a re-design.
The initial critique of the legacy piece was that it felt too much like a brochure and not a time-sensitive promotional piece or calendar that would motivate people to attend events. Our approach was to simplify the initial visual impact by making the dates front and center, set in a classic, timeless context. Image selection and editing was vital to the design development process as we worked to craft a piece that captured the power and the diversity of the programs.
